Lexi and Kate are two fictional women that were created by two very good friends during a little transcontinental writing project conducted through e-mail. The first result was The Lexicon -- an intriguing 185-page story which was all too reflective of our realities and fantasies and a lot of fun to write. The story is included below in 8 PDF sections. RefLexions is the continuing story of Lexi and Kate and is finished; the 7 PDF sections are included below. PerpLexing, the third (and final?) story in the series is complete and concludes with an epilogue. These novelettes were started in late April and finished in mid-October.

The Lexicon, RefLexions and PerpLexing are fictional stories. Four of the characters, those interviewed by Kate and Steve in The Lexicon, are real people who did not participate in writing this story. Conversations for these public figures were extrapolated from speeches, websites, interviews in other publications, books and academic papers. Actresses Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis did not particpate in writing this story and are used as characters in the filming of Lexi's movie. (They're great actresses and perfectly fit the story.) For all other characters, any resemblance to real people is purely coincidental.
